The IEEE International Conference on Services Computing (SCC) continues to bridge the gap between Services Computing and Business models with an emerging suite of ground-breaking technology that includes service-oriented architecture (SOA), business process integration and management, services engineering and grid/utility computing, and Web 2.0.
The two flagship conferences, ICWS & SCC, are strategically part of the IEEE Congress on Services (SERVICES). While ICWS & SCC focus on high-quality research and industry paper sessions, the theme of SERVICES is to support them and further explore the science and technology of Services in the field of Services Computing, which has been formally promoted by IEEE Computer Society since 2003. From a technology foundation perspective, Services Computing has become the default discipline for the emerging modern services science.
